Continuing the trend of the 150th, the Lynchburg (VA) Civil War Sesquicentennial is hosting a week of events to commemorate the Battle of Lynchburg fought on June 17 – 18, 1864.
One of the highlights, which I may be a little biased about, is a talk given by yours truly on June 17th at Historic Sandusky, the house used by Union Major General David Hunter during the battle.
