Permaculture Design Begins!

Duvall Homestead - Self reliance and Permaculture on the Maumee

So I’ve got until Aug 21 to turn in my 1st Permaculture design to Geoff Lawton for my Permaculture Design Certificate.  This is really an exciting moment for me.  Back when we started looking at raw land and homes at the beginning of 2014, I originally thought I’d perfectly time my final design with a bit of real estate I’d already “own” by now.  That part hasn’t quite worked out, so my current adventures in Permaculture are restricted to the patio of my apartment (where I’m failing pretty bad at container gardening) and sustainably fantasizing on the internet.  I’ve been tossing around design ideas on paper for the 5 acres I’ve been writing about in this blog.  Here is a peek-
